Writer or Singer?

      Would you rather be famous for being a writer or a singer? I would rather be a writer, because one, I'd be rich, and two, I love writing. I don't like singing very much, but I've always loved writing. I also love reading books, and I've always wanted to write a book. That is why I'd love to be a writer instead of a singer. I would like to be famous for playing guitar. But deffinetly not singing.

The Best Food Ever!

     I think cinnamon buns are the best food ever. I could eat it all day! Every Christmas morning my dad would make cinnamon buns and we'd all eat it after opening our presents. I also get cinnamon buns from the vending machines at the rec center. My favorite part about cinnamon buns is the icing.

Tropical Storm Nate (news this week)

      Tropical Storm Nate is heading toward Mexico and the U.S. coast right after it hit Central America killing 22 people. Nate hit winds of over 60mph this afternoon, Friday October 6, 2017, and is currently heading north-west at 21mph. New Orleans has declared it a state of emergency and has told citizens to stay put over the weekend. Nate should move through quickly as a category 1 storm. I hope more people donate to the areas that have been damaged, because I feel really bad for the people that live there.

If I Were President...

.    If I were president, I would stop the soda tax in Cook County, because it's  taxing some drinks with no calories, and it's making people really angry. If I were president I would make a law that the yellow food dye in some drinks should be banned, because in large doses, it could cause cancer. I don't think I would be the best president, since I'm very stubborn, but I think I'd be a pretty good president. I would make it a law that every mother or father would have to buy their kid a unicorn plushie. If you're exposed to unicorn plushies as a child you end up being happier as an adult in my opinion.

Slice of Life

     This is Miranda the Wizard giving you a slice of some hard, cold life. Last night I was reading a book. The paper in the books were thin and crisp. It was hard to read, because it was dark in the room I was in. I could smell soup coming from the kitchen next door from dinner. I could still taste a bit of the soup in my mouth. My sister was watching My Little Pony in the room next to mine, so I could hear a muffled theme song about friendship through the wall. The only light I was using was from my phone which I was using to listen to music with. Goodbye, that was my version of some hard, cold, life!

Digital Citizenship

     I am being responsible with technology by not posting anything online that I'll regret. I watched a video in school about a police officer talking about how we shouldn't post anything we'll regret, and not to cyber bully people on the internet. The police officer told us not to write discouraging comments online. I'm going to be responsible online by proof reading my content so I don't right anything weird. I'm going to be responsible online by writing nice things online. I think that everyone  should be more responsible on the internet and more respectful.

Free Write

I have no idea what I'm going to write, so I'm going to write about a giant unicorn head at target. It was very creepy looking, but I liked it. I realized that this would be my Halloween costume, and no one would ever beat me in a costume contest.
